'In Tauranga we booked a private tour with Odysseys. It was recommended by another cruiser on Cruise Critic, and we're glad we went with her. Michele is extremely knowledgeable about all the geological attractions in the area and she does a great job of relaying it. I thought the bathhouse was intriguing in the Rotorua Museum. We also went to Whakarewarewa and Waiotapu which were both fascinating! Michele let us customise our tour and tried to make sure that everyone got to see as much as they could or wanted to. We packed a lot into one day. We also went jet-boating at the end of the day which was just plain fun. Not scary at all and a beautiful ride!'
