'A group of students let by Mr Ramesh and Mrs MacDonald visited the North Island of New Zealand for a geography trip which also encompassed certain elements of the sciences. The trip lasted from 11th June to 20th June, and proved to be unforgettable to all those involved, especially because of the picturesque scenery, rich culture and the overall learning experience. Who knew geography could be such fun? What with volcanoes, marine life and other natural phenomena of New Zealand, even the non-geography students had something to learn. The group experienced a true blue Maori Haka performance, waded in icy streams to study the organisms, hiked up mountains, observed glow-worms and did so much more besides, that one could not possible list it in one sitting. Thanks to the accompanying teachers, our Kiwi guide, Michele, and the bus captain, Greg for making the trip a most enjoyable one.'
